I have a current cookbook collection of about 20 or so books, although I hardly ever use them. My favorite among them is the St. Marks Cookbook, originating from the Parish my grandparents attended. What I like most about it is its passage from my grandparents to my parents and then to me, evoking memories of my childhood.

To capture my interest, a cookbook must feature lots of pictures, as we eat with our eyes first.

My family holds all the recipes from my spouse’s mother’s family, which are very special to us. Additionally, one of my cherished creations is pumpkin cheesecake.
