Each year, National Assisted Living Week provides a special opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the world of assisted living communities across our nation. This week spotlights the amazing efforts of caregivers working in these communities and the unique residents who reside there. Joining this national observance offers a chance to reflect on the importance of compassionate care. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the vibrant lives of residents and appreciate the incredible staff who make it all possible. This week also highlights the importance of assisted living communities being a part of neighborhoods across the nation.

As National Assisted Living Week has officially kicked off, we fully embrace this year’s theme, “Inspiring Generations.” This theme captures what makes The Boulevard Wentzville so special: the blend of wisdom from our older adults and the fresh vibrancy of the professionals working here daily. To celebrate, residents and staff will enjoy a week full of unique events. These events will highlight the various service areas that contribute to the spirit and success of our community.
The Boulevard Wentzville celebrates our vibrant community each year by embracing the excitement of honoring our residents and team members. We host a week of exciting and unique events that showcase the diverse departments contributing to our community’s spirit and success. This year, we’ll highlight the theme with Team Spirit Week, a Grandparents Day Brunch. This is an intergenerational morning featuring beach volleyball with children from The Morgan School Early Childhood Center. Then we will have crafts and many more fun events.
It is our hope by truly embracing the journey our aging adults take when they choose to make an assisted living community their home, we can inspire others to make the leap and join the wonderful culture and truly thrive alongside others in their generation.
